    Default Dyno Tune for car

I am putting a used KB supercharger on my 97 stang, I have the kb chip that came with the supercharge, but would it be better
to have the car dyno tuned instead of using the KB chip? cause I am also going to do an EGR delete .

I know nothing about dyno tuning, can someone give me some names with good reputations I am from mansfield, so cleveland / columbus are the nearest big city to me.

Also can someone give me a ball park figure on how much this costs.
Do they dynotune and burn you a chip or reprogram you car?
    Thx.

Wow someone from mansfield! im from lucas so im about ten minutes from ya.
you have a few options here...
    1. take it to big shot dyno/ any other dyno tuner
    2. get a sniper special forces kit and make your own tune
    3. use the chip you have and see how it works...

I'm pretty sure those chips are just to hold you over a little while until you get a dyno tune.

I have heard that the KB chips are pretty good. If your pinching pennies, I would put the chip in and then throw it on a dyno to check it. If it's good, no need for a tune. If it's off, then get a tune. Should save you some cash that way.

sablegto has a good plan, try the chip, and it may not need tuned, but if you want a tune, i suggest CRT Performance in Norwalk Ohio, as i have had my tuning done by them, and i believe he is the cheapest tuner around here, there are plenty of other people on this site that will back him. the owners name is Jeff Chambers and shop # 1-419-668-4151 if interested. good luck man.
