Its easy. You will just regret not dropping the extra cash for a built AOD if you drive it regularly.

Like a remove and replace as far as the tranny goes. No TV cable to screw up , so thats nice.

(I guess easy if you have ever done a tranny or auto tranny)

Why do you want to go to a C4?

What kind of shape is the AOD in? What about the C4?
Are you planning to put highway miles on it?

well the owner before has put some burnouts under her....I haven't driven it yet...I don't have a C4 yet but I know a built AOD isn't cheap

How much power are you looking at?
Rebuild AOD v. rebuild C4

Personally - unless it was being trailered, I would rather have the AOD just for highway cruising (you never know where you may take it)

The AOD will stay for now....but before long I hope to be pulling the front tires off the ground on launch....I'm gonna gut this sucker

Just doing so much as a shift kit makes the car soo much more fun to drive... Every time you crack it open and grab some tire on a shift, you'll smile:skid:

Slow... very very slow...

Too many hours at work.
And trying to figure out what needs to be done first and then procuring specific parts to make it happen. Unfortunately, some parts are difficult to find new.
