Hey guys. Just thought I would share a few pics of a 3v we finished up a few weeks back. This car is a really fun car to drive and the power comes on nice and strong. Here is a quick breakdown of what the car has.

Custom L&M 302ci shortblock
Custom L&M cams
Livernois camshaft lockouts
2.6 Kenne Bell Supercharger
PPC custom fabricated intake
C&R dual fan heat exchanger
Roush intercooler resevoir
Frpp intercooler pump
frpp 80 lb/hr injectors
frpp GT500 dual fuel pump kit
Mcleod RXT twin disc clutch
Magnaflow off road x pipe
PPC custom axle back exhaust
Metco billet lower control arms
Metco driveshaft safety loop
DSS one piece aluminum driveshaft

The original plan was to add a 100hp dry shot of nitrous to the car on top of everything. We ended up a little higher on the fuel pump duty cycle than we anticipated and the customer lives in a rural area where there really are no nitrous fill stations. So rather than go the nitrous route, this car will be getting a stage 2 meth kit in the next few months.

This is what the kenne bell supplied kit looked like when we got the car

We quickly ditched the old 90mm lmaf setup kb used and fabricated an intake to put the original slot style maf in

This was the finished result

The new shortblock is a thing of beauty

The new C&R heat exchanger compared to the kenne bell unit

We were pretty happy with the power considering it was on pump gas with a bit of torco through stock heads and stock exhaust manifolds!

Again, thanks for taking the time to look!

Thats a real nice power curve... The methanol will really waken it up too.

Thanks! Yeah, from strictly a cooling standpoint it should allow us to pull the car and continue to maker power closer to 7k rpm. Downstream iat temps start to get up to the point where we have to start pulling some timing around 6200 rpm. If we had race gas int he tank we could get away with keeping the timing in but on pump, better safe than sorry. The extra cooling from the meth should allow us to pull further without the temp coming into play and we should also be able to put a few more degrees in it with the added octane as well.

Yeah, I just did a 3 nozzle on a procharged 01 Cobra. whats nice about the 01's is that I put a nozzle right in front of the blower and to cool that initial charge will make all the difference in the world. Cant wait to tune next week. should be a nice increase over the 572 at 15lbs it made prior. I also went one size smaller on the pulley and got rid of the restrictive plastice procharger inlet pipe. should see another 2-3lbs of boost at least.

Awesome! Don't see too many heavily modded 3Vs out there.
