So many threads with links to CL open up in different sections every day, why not group them together for everybody to see?

I understand what you're thinking. However doing so creates a library of archived craigslist ads. This is kind of pointless since they disappear so quickly...

Personally, I think posting CL ads can sometimes be detrimental to those who are looking for something.

Scenario: I find a smokin' deal on something, and make arrangements to look at it that evening. It gets posted here, and someone else (who may not have know about it otherwise) scoops it up.

Same goes for random postings of eBay items. I'd be ticked if all of a sudden I was bidding against six other people who found out about an item posted by someone not even interested in buying it.
