View Full Version : WTB 351 W Short Block

I need a 351 W short block. I just tore down my 351 w from my 67 stang that I bought this summer and found a few problems. The crank was worn at every bearing, the camshaft gear to the oil pump was worn, and the cylinders were bored .002 by the pistons near the top. So I am in need of a new block and crank as my old block was already .040 over and the crank is not saveable.

Has anyone seen wear like this before? The wear near the ends of the crank go around half way and each end is the opposite. Very weird almost as though the crank or block is not true.

I do have an older block that needs machined but was hoping maybe to find a block and crank already machined and ready to go. PM me or reply if you have something. Thanks.

Sorry I did find a 351W short block already thanks for the PM. I tried to respond to the PM but it said I could not because I did not have 15 posts. All of these post requirements are pain.

GregI have a 351w it looks fresh. Its in Akron. Make me an offer I cant refuse.
