Any one on here can give me the run down on being able to use the xploder throttle body on my Fairmont. I've heard there is a way to modify it to work with the stock linkage? Mine has an AOD so it has the tranny cable as well....Any help would be great...Thanks!

your trans cable should hook to the throttle cable. and it should work right on it. IIRC.

the stock throttle body and the xploder one have totally different linkages though? I mean the part(arm) that actually works the throttle plate not just the cable

drill out the center piece of the throttle arm both TB's, and then just put the mustang arm on the explorer piece, tack it and be done.

it can be wleded or drilled and tapped. Make sure you change the TPS sensor too, as the signal is different even though it plugs in

What Steve stated here is as close to a "don't forget" as you'll ever need. That TPS gets overlooked so many times and people are baffled with a head scratcher. Don't forget that part of the conversion.
