What was the original engine? Assuming this wasn't a GT (because of the front grill) ?

Car was originally a 289 3 speed. Still has the clutch pedal in it too.

This will make someone a really nice car, I honestly hate to see it go.

Ever had it on the track? Horsepower numbers? Possible trades? Miles on the body? Miles on the motor/transmission?

16.10 at Norwalk last summer, single wheelie peelie with retarted gears out back. DROVE the car there and back. Not for the track, but seems a lot faster than that around town, if that makes any sense. 40,000 on the car, engine came out of a 1986 Bronco and is a 351 HO. Approx 65,000 on it. Runs fantastic, zero issues. Frame is solid, torque boxes like to rot on these things, as well as thr trunk/quarter seam. This car is SOLID in both areas. No roll cage, only mods are aluminum trunk floor and fuel cell, I still have the original gas tank for it, can be put back to original. I guess I could consider partial trades, depending on what you have to offer, except wayfast's mom, even if she can cook. LMAO! I read that and cracked up.

More pics of the trunk area.

12 gallon fuel cell, can drive from Norwalk to Youngstown on this without stopping!

Driver's side inside quarter panel, trunk floor:

Leaning in the trunk, where the quarter panel meets the trunk floor side pieces, they like to rot here. Not on this gal.

Speaking of GTA's, I also have a 390 that I was going to put into this car in front of a toploader for sale too. DEFINITELY needs rebuilt, but I just thought of that reading welfare's post. No toploader though, but that was the plan.

And now that I think about it, I would seriously consider a handgun on partial trade. Used to have a Smith & Wesson 629 Classic .44 Mag (6" barrel) that I sold to rebuild a 302 years ago. I sorta miss that hand cannon.

Honestly I need some cash, the economy sucks, but I really am open to partial trades. The economy sucks on the buyer's side too!

Let the dealing begin. Hand Cannon, VINTAGE Polaris snowmobile, PS3, plasma cutter, TIG welder, hell I don't know. What ya got? NO even up trades, like I said I need some ching.

Your trade and your cash equals my girl Nadine sorta thing.

I rescued Nadine from Michigan about 4 years ago. SCREWBLUE! Ran the serial, and she was built in Georgia and sold in Tennessee. There is virtually NO rust on this thing, inside outside upside down. Small blisters in the paint behind the front wheels on the fenders, that's it! Start her up, and I wouldn't hesitate to drive this thing to Cincinnatti from Youngstown. In fact, I would be willing to do that to sell her, as long as I have a ride home.

I spent A TON of time to make the dash look like this:

http://www.knights-rule.com/images/Scarelane/interior/IMG_0026.JPG

Unmolested radio bezel, rebuilt the gauge cluster etc etc. Have an actual working under the dash FM modulater 8 track player, that I'm gonna put in her.

This car is just plain and simple OLD SKOOL! Grey/Black tweed up front, stock seat in back. C'mon guys, tell me you wouldn't like to take your lady to the Drive Inn, in THIS car! I DID that very thing, and it was way cool. This car is a head turner at each and every stop sign!

Going fast, I just about have things worked out where I can KEEP her. But for now, $6995 with your trade!

Unlike my '86 four eye Stang, this gal is worth more each and every day she sits in my garage. She's legit, and a BLAST to drive! You can own her, but not for too much longer! Thinking I may need to just keep her.

When I'm behind the wheel of this machine, I have ALL the kewl points!

OK, this is a long shot. But, someone with a Smith & Wesson 629 Classic and an '86/'87 T-bird Turbo Coupe can own this car for both of the above and $3500 cash.

Miss my gun, and have a bug up my ass about a Turbo Ranger for a daily driver.

Yes, I noticed that this thread was dated, but I saw no notification stating that the car had been SOLD, so I was just checking to see whether it still might be available FOR SALE. Stranger things have happened where a car was not sold !

Thanks.. .:)
