2002 Tomos LX moped

2002 Tomos LX moped. just rolled over 600 miles. 49cc 2 stroke motor with 2 speed automatic transmission. Supposed to get 100 mpg. Runs very good, all lights work. selling for a friend. These mopeds came with an automatic oiling system that was housed under the seat. They are notorious for failing and this one did. Since then the engine was rebuilt by Hardings cycle. The self oiling system was removed and now it runs on premixed 2 stroke gas. Under the seat is now empty and is a perfect place for keeping a small bottle of 2 stroke oil. This is perfect for daily commuting to work or for a kid to have fun on. Street legal.

Bump for a good deal, the LX sell new for around $1600 out the door. Good bike for someone looking to get thier 14-16 year old kid mobile.

I think a moped might be a little too fast for Jake's taste. He usually likes being weighed down in a 40 million pound convertible to make sure he never goes too fast. ;-)

I had a Tomos Moped when I was growing up and used it for my paper route awesome moped had good power when other mopeds couldnt make it up steep hills I could without a problem

I had a 1980 Tomos when I was a kid! It was the fastest moped in the neighborhood after my Pops got done modding for me! lol

thanks pedd lol. and i think id rather be seen on the moped than on a fat chick. at least a moped has a good excuse haha. and LX2NV, we've had it over 40 mph with the carb tuned and the right temp, humidity! it was a blast
