Up for sale is a very well taken care of Sony A100 DSLR camera. I bought this camera new on 8-7-06 from Best Buy. I also bought their 4 year Performance Service Plan (warranty). This warranty is good until 8-7-2010 and is fully transferable. This warranty is key as you dont have to deal with an aftermarket warranty company, if you ever have an issue just take it in to any Best buy and get it serviced with no hassles! In the couple years I have owned it I have never had any issues nor have I ever taken it in to get serviced. It has just performed flawlessly. In fact 99% of the pics I have posted on this site have come from this camera!
The camera comes in its original box with original accesories including Sony 18-70mm F3.5-5.6 kit lens, Lithium-ion battery, charger, Kneck strap, A/V cable, CD rom with software, manuals, etc.
There are many reviews of this camera all over the web so if you need more info just google the model number and you will find tons of other info.
Local pickup from Akron. $450 or best offer.
Feel free to ask any questions you may have.

Absolutely, its definately an entry level DSLR thats great for learning on. The kit lens it comes with is a great lens to get started with. In fact I learned everything i know about shooting on this very camera. Sony bought Minolta so it is compatible with all Sony and Minolta lenses. The only reason im even selling it is because im going to take some classes so I dropped a grand on their 700 series. But to be honest i still dont even understand all the options on this one, which is one of the reasons im going to do the classes. let me know if there are any more questions I can answer.

Also if it sells for my asking price of $450.00 I will include my Sandisk UltraII 2 gig memory card. With the memory card you will need nothing else, just take the camera out and start shooting!
Here are some shots of some work I did for goodyear with this camera as well! They were so happy with the shots they gave me and my family a blimp ride. Again all these were taken with this camera.

Well, this is odd. My wife and I have been pricing a300's for the past few weeks, and I actually almost pulled the trigger, but hesitated for some reason. I just walked in the door from cord camera. I just have a hard time dropping 800 on a new 300 (with 2 lenses, but no memory card), when we are 100% new to dslr's, and simply want something to learn on.....
I will talk with here, and send you a pm tonight

As I said before this is a great camera to learn on. The kit lens is a great all around lens and I wouldnt reccomend buying a second one until you narrow down what kind of shooting youre going to be doing. If its something youre just going to be using for general purpose the kit lens will be more then enough. If you decide later on you want to shoot moving objects then you can go with a faster F-stop lens. If you want to do nature/birds then you could pick up a longer zoom lens. But until you really know what youre going to be shooting it would be a safer bet to wait and see how it goes before spending the extra cash on a different lens.
