Car is back up and running, drove it a bit today. It's running fine but i'm going to check the A/F on it and if it's ok, the car will be out.

Converter was restalled properly as well so I shouldn't have any 5200 stall speed issues :rock:

Car is filthy beyond comprehension, i'll wash it tomorrow and then post some pics and possibly a video.

Long story short - when we went to OBX on vacation one of my cats somehow got locked in the garage and was walking thru the oil and whatever else on the floor. Ended up walking/sleeping all over my car so it's covered with oil and cat hair. Nasty.

Interior needs help now too.

Tomorrow - clean the car and adjust the front ride height.

I wish, earliest will be Tuesday that I can make it. I still have to get up tomorrow and get new stickers for it so I can put it on the road legally. Driving around Firestone Park just isn't cutting it.

Found my header leak today.


Brand new - maybe 200 miles + 3 WOT runs - Mr Gasket Ultra Seals, popped :beef:

Guess this is the reason most guys go with either RTV or an aluminum gasket with inserts.

I didn't listen :idiot:

Went back to RTV (Had it on the first shortblock with no leaks)

Damn - just found out that the passenger side header is almost blown out too. I didn't fix it because of the turbo, i'll fix it this week tho.

Thanks to the guys at Big Shot Dyno for providing an MSD 2 Step to test on the car tomorrow. Handyman and I wired her in tonight and let it build to 5lbs before shutting it down.

Tomorrow should be interesting.
