I filled most of you in on my project I was going to start over this winter (full exterior overhaul). Here is the progress so far with Ped222 to thank for most of it. I just bought a new 4in Harwood and will be trimming to fit tomorrow, the driver's side is about ready for paint, and my new fender is on and fits pretty nice (the car will stay white with the LX trim and a GT spoiler, nothing too fancy). So far the project is going quite smooth, but there is a long way to go!! Let me know what you think so far.

Pat, your "full exterior overhaul" is looking good, it should come out pretty nice with ped222 on it. now, you gotta make sure you got the bite to go along with the bark ! time for some low 11 runs looking like that, you know what to do.....

just curious. Are you using your old trim, or did you buy new trim? If you are reusing the old how did you get it off w/o bending it up?

I am buying a new driver's side molding. It was a little beat up before I took it off, so I wasn't that careful taking it off. I cut the passenger side off with a knife (little by little) and it came off perfect, so I will reuse that one. If you bend them up pulling them off, you can reuse them still, you just have to take the two metal backing strips off the back side (this is very time consuming) and let the molding lay on the concrete, it will straighten up after a few days of laying.

I finally have the car fully stripped down inside and out. Unfortunatley, I found a little bit of cancer on the drivers side floorboard (naturally lol). We're gonna replace that as well. On the bright side (when finished), she'll be one of the cleanest NE OH fox's around!

Well, we just cut in a new rocker on the passenger side of the 92 (the old one was caved in, how it happened I don't know) ped222 did an outstanding job, looks mint! The new floor pan should be here this week and should be in this weekend!! I'll get updated pics up by then.

Got the new floorpan welded in this weekend and 90% of the car DA sanded. I think since I am this far, I am going to pull the motor and drivetrain too (what the hell, right! lol). I need to drop the tranny to undercoat the new pan anyway, so what's a few more bolts. Also picked up an aluminum driveshaft and torque box reinforcements as well.

a couple of areas are going to need lightly sanded, (not too many) and yes a good buff out when cured. We noticed some flaws in the rear fascia, so it will need hit again :beef:, and the right quarter got some s*** in one little spot (hopefully it will sand out, if not it won't be a bad touch up). Over all it came out pretty nice though.
