Alright, i replaced my serp belt because I deleted the PS/AC/Smog and needed a shorter one obviously.
I routed it just like the other foxbody in my garage, and the way i remembered it as being, but after I got it back together I noticed the sticker by the radiator and it says the belt should be going over the waterpump/fan the other way.
Aren't the waterpumps reverse drive?
This is how mines goes, I can get a pic if this doesn't make sense.
Alt > under tensioner > dummy pulley basically where AC was > back to WP/fan (from right down to left) > around crank (from left to right) > alt, and up over it.
Does that make sense? Basically as far as I understand it the belt is running clockwise and I've routed the belt so as to spin the WP/Fan counterclockwise, is that right?
The car runs fine for the few minutes I started it up in the garage, (did a lot of work so it was down for about a month) but I just wanted to make sure because that diagram threw me off.
thanks
