I am interested in purchasing some Comp Cams, an intake and get a tune.
I have an XCAL2 with a custom tunes on it now, but the guy that did the tune is in Alabama.
I am looking for a decent shop to get the cams installed in or around the Columbus area.
Anyone have any recommendations for a good shop around Columbus?

I hear Precision Automotive in Dayton does good work.

If you don't mind a little drive, Modular Depot in Cincinnati does good work.

I also hear Lasota does great work in C-bus. We are fortunate to have quite a few great shops in the ohio area.

I highly recommend Modular Depot.......Ken B and Brandon are top notch! They tuned my 2V cammed motor and my 4V motor as well. Honestly from my experience w/ them I wouldn't go anywhere else!

X eleventy billion!

They tune my car, and I trust them completely. Good people, too!

Also, Don is one of the main SCT experts. Rob does the installs (actually has an engineering degree and decided he'd rather wrench!) and they do the tuning together.

I with you! Kenny's tuned all my cars, He'll be tuning my GT 500 when it comes in. Plus MD now has Mike Wilson who came over from Paul's Auto, he's a good tunner also. I've turned a wrench or 2 at MD over the years.
I know Ken and Brandon very well, good guys.

Might want to give the whole cam thing very critical consideration. There have a been a number of members in other Mustang forums who have done this mod and gotten basically zero (or even less?) for the mega $ invested. Here's one:

I am not welcome on mustangforums, long and the short of it is that I am an Admin on a site that has users that bashed them pretty hard, as well as a few nice sentences from me lol. I am thinking Comp Cams, and later on some heads should set me up nicely. I want to be a NA monster, FI is great but I really love the sound of the rough idle from cams too.
