I'm sure everyone knows that Gilbert and JR have been working hard along with the help of all of us to get Gilbert's Mustang back on the road. We were working on the car this weekend and I though I'd throw a few of the quick pictures I snapped while we were working.
The car as it sits...

The engine without valve covers. Notice the nice Aluminum Block :)

JR using the air grinder... yes we do custom work

The engine with the LTs and the valve covers (and the Aluminum Flywheel)

I'd bolt the transmission up now and install them both at the same time.

We are. We're waiting on some pressure plate bolts so we can put the clutch on... then the tranny will go on and then into the car :)

With the mustang frame and steering shaft, you'll end up taking the LT's off.

the shaft yes, but it should slide right in there. i did it with mine, full k-member, he has the tubular one. It should be in there engine and trans next time we get a chance to work on it. We are shooting for it to be done by the time of the show.
edit: nice pics Drew

Thanks, I've got a few more as well. I'll have to get some when the motor gets dropped.
Side note, Austin has his S/Cer installed so the MAF and Injectors should be good to ship out. :)
